A west Mediterranean species which is subspontaneous in most of the Atlantic and the rest of the Mediterranean Europe. In Romania it is said to be frequently cultivated but in fact it is rarely encountered and in cultivation most frequently Vinca minor is the species found.Pictures taken from outside Romania, plant cultivated near the bar from Kaliakra Cape, Bulgaria, 28th of April 2011. dr.
